 Ch Aviva's Sage of Corrales

"Sage"

Sage is our home-grown champion.  Sired by Ch Northstar's Two By Two (Noah) and daughter of Ch Jolains Good Vibrations (Inky), Sage completed her championship in August 2006. Sage is a true tomboy! She loves to tease the other dogs and she is always ready for a fast game of Runlikeheck through the house.  I really think that Sage aspires to be an agility star someday.  This girl is FAST!  She is also a pure joy to know and love.

After finishing her championship, Sage was invited to compete at the Eukanuba Invitational Dog Show at the Long Beach Convention Center in December 2006. She showed her heart out there and it was an honor and highlight of my breeding career for me to show her at this very prestigious dog show. Sage turned two years old in September 2007.  She has completed all of her health tests which you can view on the link below.  I am very proud that she passed her tests with flying colors!  This year, she was bred to Ch Tapscott's Legacy From Herman, a beautiful Havanese with many talents.  Herman is an AKC Champion, a therapy dog, and excels in agility.  Their puppies were whelped in April 2008, five females and one male.  With healthy, smart, and lively parents like Sage and Herman, I know their puppies are destined to be very special!

Ch Liveoak's Sweet Temptation

"Tasha"

Tasha is a little beauty with an abundance of shiny jet-black coat, great conformation, and an outgoing, spunky personality. She loves people and dogs alike and can always be counted on to keep things lively here at our house. Tasha is a little "busybody," always moving and always into something. She possesses that outgoing, friendly temperament that makes the Havanese such a wonderful companion dog. Thank you to Ken and Nancy Martin of Liveoak Kennel for sharing this little "Sweet Tempation Tasha" with us.

Tasha's show career has included several wins under prestigious judges.  I am grateful to handler Jayne Ferguson for showing Tasha to her first major win (under Judge Janet Mercer, shown on left below).  Charlotte Ventura then went on to garner other major wins with Tasha and finally finished her championship at the Richmond Dog Fanciers Club on August 2nd, 2008.  Thank you to Judge Timothy Catterson for recognizing Tasha with a 4 point Best of Winners award at her championship show!  Also, thank you to Charlotte Ventura for your excellent care and wonderful presentation of Tasha!  Tasha is an outstanding representative of the Havanese breed and will be shown at the Havanese Club of America National Specialty show in Richmond, VA late August 2008.
